The 2024 Finance Law has established a precise timeline for the entry into force of this obligation:
September 1st, 2026: Obligation to issue electronic invoices for large companies and intermediate-sized enterprises (ETIs).
September 1st, 2027: Extension of the obligation to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and micro-enterprises.
Note that the obligation to receive electronic invoices will apply to all businesses from September 1st, 2026.
